Enyo Law acts on behalf of five UK trading companies and their respective liquidators in proceedings brought against two listed inter-dealer brokers.
The proceedings relate to claims for dishonest assistance in the breaches of fiduciary duty by the directors of the trading companies and for fraudulent trading under s. 213 of the Insolvency Act 1986. A 35-day trial is listed to take place in March 2020.
The proceedings also involved claims against Deutsche Bank AG which were the subject of a confidential consensual resolution agreed without any admission of liability. The on-going proceedings are being jointly case managed and heard with similar proceedings against
Citigroup Global Markets Limited.
