Alex has particular experience of big-ticket litigation and arbitration, both domestic and cross-border. Jurisdictions he has been involved with include Cyprus, France, Hungary, Russia, Ukraine, the UK and the US.
Alex's experience covers financial institutions litigation, fraud, international arbitration and general commercial litigation. In particular, he has been involved in many cases with a significant political element.
Alex began his legal career at CMS Cameron McKenna in London where he worked on a large-scale fraud trial with connections to Russia. More recently, Alex worked as counsel with a Ukrainian industrial group with interests including fertilisers, media, gas distribution and titanium, in Ukraine, Russia, Central Asia and Eastern Europe.
