Ellie has experience in high-value, complex litigations and arbitrations with cross-border elements.  She has particular experience in competition litigation, regulatory investigations, and conflicts of law matters.

Background

Ellie read History at the University of Oxford before completing the GDL and LPC at BPP University, achieving a distinction in both qualifications.

Ellie trained at Slaughter and May before joining the litigation team at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP upon qualification in September 2020.  She joined Enyo Law in February 2022.

Cases include:
  • Advising a high net worth individual on a cross-border shareholder dispute resulting from US sanctions policy;
  • Advising senior management of a global infrastructure firm in connection with allegations of bribery within the business;
  • Acting for an oil and gas company in a multinational litigation following the collapse of a dam in Brazil;
  • Acting for a defendant for a follow-on damages claim, involving the largest cartel fine imposed by the European Commission to date.
